You and your dog are going to love the Lautus Pets® raincoat!
The first thing you’ll notice is that your dog’s raincoat comes in simple, recyclable plastic bag to keep the packaging to minimum and reduce the strain on our environment while protecting the coat on its journey to you. Just put the packaging bag and glossy insert in with the rest of your recycling.
Rain or shine, your dog likes to be in its natural habitat – outside.
The Lautus Pets raincoat will help keep your dog drier, warmer and reduce splash from shaking inside on rainy days thanks to the
shell that’s waterproof (3000mm), windproof and breathable (3000mvp).
Not only will your dog be comfortable but they’ll also be safer in the evenings since the coat is highly visible, reflective and has a covered hole below the collar to pass through your leash to attach to a collar or harness under the raincoat.
With the zippered & adjustable collar design, snap buckle chest strap and adjustable rear leg elastic straps, it’s easy to put on, stay
on and take off.
Fitting Instructions
- Open the zip & place the coat over your dog’s head.
- Have your dog step into adjustable rear leg elastics.
- Snap the chest strap closed around chest & adjust to be comfortable but snug.
- Close the zip & adjust collar elastic to be comfortable for your pet.
Some suggestions from us and your fellow customers about how to make the most of your pet’s new coat:
- Use the rear leg straps to keep the back of the coat in place on your dog, especially if your dog is active or it’s windy.
- Your coat comes with a hole at the back of the neck, for the leash to attach to a neck collar worn by your dog.
- If you prefer using a harness, consider putting the harness on top of the coat instead of under / inside.
- Close the neck zipper first being sure it’s comfortable for your dog before closing the chest straps.
- Gently pull the elastic cord to tighten the collar (after closing the zipper) if the collar is too big for your dog. Simple press the toggle’s button to loosen the elastic cord if it feels too tight.
Care Instructions
Hand wash in cold water with similar colors. Do not iron, tumble dry, dry clean or bleach. Do not use softener.
The following are ways to keep the raincoat looking like new:
- Apply a standard fabric waterproofing spray if it starts to be less waterproof.
- Hand wash dirt away with mild soap / detergent.
- Hang dry it after use or hand washing.
